Set up your trade on the chart
Once the indicator is on your chart, use the input settings to configure your entry price, stop loss, take profit, exit price, lot size, contract size, and strategy name. The indicator will display everything visually on the chart.
3
Copy the indicator title
After configuring your trade, right-click on the indicator title at the top-left of your chart (it starts with "TradingSFX Trade Calculator") and click Copy. The title contains all your trade data in a special format.
4
Paste into TradingSFX
In your TradingSFX dashboard, click Add Trade and then click the Paste from TradingView button. The form will auto-fill with all your trade data — entry, exit, SL, lot size, strategy, and more. Add the symbol, review all the fields and hit Add Trade.
Why Use the TradingView Indicator?
Manually typing every trade into your journal is tedious and error-prone. Our free TradingView indicator lets you set up the trade visually on your chart and import it with a single paste — no manual data entry needed.
What Gets Imported?
When you paste from the indicator, these fields are automatically filled:
Direction (Long/Short) — detected from entry vs. take profit
Entry Price and Exit Price
Stop Loss (in pips)
Risk to Reward ratio
Lot Size and Contract Size
Strategy name
Entry/Exit timestamps (if set in the indicator)
P&L — calculated automatically
Tips
Make sure you copy the full indicator title — it starts with "TradingSFX Trade Calculator" followed by parentheses with all the values
The indicator works on any asset — forex, indices, crypto, stocks
You can keep the indicator on your chart permanently and just update the inputs for each new trade
If the paste fails, check that you copied the indicator title (not the chart title)
