Built-in FundingPips preset

FundingPips Trading Journal

FundingPips evaluations are cheap to enter and easy to burn. TradingSFX keeps your numbers in front of you so the rules never sneak up on you.

FundingPips became one of the fastest-growing prop firms by doing one thing aggressively: cutting evaluation prices to the floor. That low entry cost is exactly why so many of its evaluations fail — when a retry costs less than a dinner, traders treat attempts as disposable and skip the discipline that funded capital actually requires.

The rules themselves are standard two-step fare: 10% maximum drawdown, 5% daily loss, 8% Phase-1 profit target. TradingSFX ships a FundingPips $100K preset that tracks all of them live, and an AI coach that tells you when your behavior looks like someone burning attempt number four instead of someone preparing to manage real capital.

FundingPips challenge rules at a glance

Based on publicly available information — always verify current rules with FundingPips before trading.

Maximum loss

10% of initial balance

Static drawdown on starting balance — a $100K evaluation must never see equity below $90,000.

Maximum daily loss

5% of initial balance

$5,000 per day on a $100K account. FundingPips resets the daily counter on server day rollover — know your platform's reset time and journal around it.

Profit target

8% Phase 1, lower in Phase 2

The 8% Phase-1 target is below FTMO's 10%, which makes patience mathematically cheaper here: you need fewer winning days than you think.

Minimum trading days

3 days

Only 3 active trading days per phase — among the lowest of the major firms, which tempts traders into rushing. The target doesn't expire; the account does when you force it.

Consistency rule

None on evaluation

No formal consistency percentage during evaluation, but payout reviews favor balanced P&L distribution. A journal that shows your per-day P&L spread tells you what the review will see.

FundingPips offers multiple account sizes and has iterated on its models frequently. The TradingSFX preset covers the $100K 2-Step; every other size or model takes seconds to configure with custom rules.

Why traders fail FundingPips evaluations

Cheap-retry mentality

Low evaluation prices make failure feel free, so risk discipline evaporates. The trader who logs every attempt in a journal sees the real cost: five 'cheap' failed evaluations is a funded account's worth of fees and months of lost time.

Sprinting the 3-day minimum

With only 3 required trading days, traders try to pass in exactly 3 days at maximum size. One red day at that pace ends the attempt. The 8% target rewards two weeks of normal trading far more reliably.

No plan between phases

Traders pass Phase 1 aggressively, then carry the same size into Phase 2 where the target is smaller and the only way to fail is to keep pushing. Your journal's per-phase stats make the needed downshift obvious.

How TradingSFX tracks your FundingPips account

FundingPips preset, one click

Attach the $100K 2-Step preset to a session and the 10% drawdown, 5% daily loss, 8% target, and 3-day minimum are tracked automatically on every logged trade.

Attempt-over-attempt history

Each evaluation attempt is its own session, so you can compare attempt #3 against attempt #2 and see whether anything actually changed — or whether you're paying to repeat the same mistake.

Daily loss headroom

Today's P&L against the $5,000 cap, in dollars, before every trade. The breach you see coming is the breach you don't take.

AI verdict on every trade

Every trade you log gets an instant AI verdict, and the persistent Coach Profile tracks which of your own rules you break most — the data that turns attempt N into the last attempt you need.
